(Three Reasons for a Winter) Nipple Piercing

1. Something to look forward to! Getting a nipple pierced involves a subtle yet rather impactful piece of jewellery that might require some getting used to, so wearing layered clothing in the upcoming colder months can be a welcome cover-up. And the EXCITING prospect of showing said piercing out in the open or under a single flimsy layer of cotton can thus be delayed until the spring or summer.

2. Swimming in open water is not recommended for a few weeks or even months afterwards, so do not get pierced before a summer break.

3. Pierced nipples are said to be stimulating, thus great for some extra fun in the dreary winter season.

And one reason not to:
Piercing a nipple requires careful consideration and a thorough thought process. Like, does one have both nipples pierced or just one? And if only one, the left or the right? And in doing so does one affiliate oneself with traditional signage such as left-for-dominant and right-for submissive or does one just do whatever feels right or fun? And also: ring or barbell? Horizontal or vertical? Etcetera, etcetera.

Too many doubts? Then don’t.
